henry adam

this baby is a sweet little miracle. i waited a long time to get to shoot this little guy. he is the son of one of my best friends, and after his sweet sister sydney was born still two years ago, his arrival was long anticipated.

welcome henry adam, born six weeks early and could not be cuter. he was about two weeks in these pics, but he's two months now! yea!

stella.

this baby girl was the sleepiest newborn i've had yet. this is the FIFTH sweet baby born to one of my friends and/sister in law in the last couple months! i'm in newborn heaven! stella was 13 days old during our session and her mother and i worried that she may not be sleepy enough. but i tell you what, this girl was a champ. and she's absolutely beautiful just like her momma. congrats maila and brian. :) (also, stella is the cousin of the darling boy a few posts down, entitled "sweet baby". don't they look alike just a little!)

i like to call this one "peace."

my blue eyed bug

this one's mine. and he's so big. he looks like he's off to kindergarten in this picture, but really he's two. sweet boy. anyhoo, this adorable hat, and BOTH hats featured in olivia's post, are from a very talented lady whose shop is called three fish. you can find her on etsy or just by clicking here. anyway, back to my baby. i love him.

look at these eyes. big. brown. one tiny tooth. this kid is stunningly beautiful. i love this family. they are so full of grace, love, encouragement...they are a JOY to be around. anyone who knows them can attest to this. AND.. caleb's mommy and i are due two weeks apart from each other in the spring, which is always fun to be prego with friends! more of this sneak peek to come later. just wanted to get this one up for now.

sweet baby

i love newborns. love 'em. and this one, like the last, is especially precious to me. again, this boy is the son of one my dear friends. (i don't really have many friends that aren't having babies at the moment for some reason. :)) this little guy was prayed over and prayed over, and was born 5 weeks early. he's teensy. tiny. and so so cute. i wanted to just stare at him, and then remembered that i was supposed to take pictures of him. love him.

olivia part deux

this angel of a baby has my heart. she is the precious 6 day old daughter of some of our dear friends. and the baby sister of this little guy who i have been shooting since day 1. she was a photographer's dream once she finally fell asleep! isn't she beautiful? i will definitely post more of her as i get some time... thanks for letting me invade your house with bags of fuzzy blankets, ash!

the gannons- sneak peek

oh this family. at first glance, i thought, oh these boys are shy. not so much. i will post proof that later. these guys were great sports. you wouldn't believe the brush and trees i drug them through to get to one of our spots. i almost had to edit out scratch marks on faces because of it. :) sorry this peek took so long! more to come...

i adore this family

this sweet lady in the blue is the mother of some dear friends of mine. she was diagnosed with ALS around a year ago and you just wouldn't believe the faith and strength that she and her children exude. i was blessed to be able to capture them this morning in their backyard. they had a mimosa ready for me! her sisters came over, and we got to shoot her with her son and daugher, daughter-in-law and both sisters. i had such a great time conversing as we shot and i was truly blessed. hope you like this sneak peek guys. thanks for letting me spend the morning with you...

isn't she gorgeous? this beauty in the yellow dress and i trekked all over downtown finding fun spots to catch her loveliness. and had a blast doing it. as a matter of fact, i was so excited about this shoot, that i came straight home to get these few up...

seven days old...

this fresh little beauty is absolutely a dollface. and was quite awake for a good portion of our session! why is that these sweet little things want to be wide awake when you get the camera out? oh well, we definitely manage to catch a few minutes of sweet slumber. congrats on this angel...
