just a quickie for the "a" fam....

NOTE- something is wrong with my blogger suddenly. its posting the pics ginormously no matter what i do. click on the image to see it in full, and smaller. if anyone has ANY advice on this bizarre new occurrence, i'd love to hear it....

we adore this family. they have been friends for a long time. and i have to say, i was so delighted to find at least one where both these crazy beautiful kids were looking right at me! dad took us for a RIDE on their snazzy new golf cart to get their pics done all over a beautiful course. it was SO fun for me, and a little chilly on the way back. that thing hauls. thanks for a wonderful evening guys... more to come... eventually...

this is the precious 7 day old cousin of the boys in the last post (spiders don't smile). and you will not believe me when i tell you what this munchkin can do. look at him! he is SMILING at his mom! at SEVEN days old! ON PURPOSE! i know you don't believe me but i'm so serious. he was a TRIP. and then, as if that wasn't enough, he was laying on his little blanky, and i said "hey little guy, are you gonna laugh for me?" AND. HE. DID. clear as day. the tiny boy laughed. i really think someone should call ripley's on this one... congrats sarah and chris, he is so beautiful. and the most well mannered newborn i think i've ever witnessed. not to mention, the most advanced!

"spiders don't smile"...

said this little one to the photographer. these little princes are the boys of my best friend of 14 to 18 years. ( we had a 4 year love/hate relationship- 15 year olds.. what do ya do...) i had the priviledge to get my camera all over her kiddos, except that it was all of a 12 minute shoot before everyone lost interest. and remember, spiders don't smile. and he wouldn't! but man he's handsome anyway. it really didn't matter.
i am having a really hard time deciding which processing i like the most. this next set are black and white...and these have a bit of a vintage feel, which i am liking alot lately. i decided to post all three because i am extremely indecisive at present...

the "g" family {peek}

oh this family is cute! it was so fun to capture a couple so in love with each other AND their kiddos. i really had a blast, thanks for having me! your family is gorgeous! and "g" man, NEXT time we'll have time for some tricks on your scooter off the steps... if mom will allow... :)

to the smokin' bride and groom...

these two thought that they were the only two people in the room. i have had the priviledge of knowing this couple (their engagement session is posted awhile back) for months now, and they are just head over heels in love. it was so so neat to watch them exchange vows and MEAN it. i could barely take pictures through the tears!
head over HEELS. get it? bad joke eh...

congratulations jeremy and naomi. you are a beautiful couple. (more to come later...)

i was editing a session and came across this one. this little girl is a doll. it was actually a session for her new baby sister, but i had to get this one. such a cutie.

the brothers "t"

about six weeks back, i did a newborn session for baby "l". i went back today to photograph his big brothers, and i was not fully prepared for the cuteness that was abounding. these boys were absolutely adorable, and would do anything for treats. thanks "t" family for letting me come back for some more captures!!!

first birthday

i can't believe this sweet girl is one and i have had the chance to be right alongside her momma, who is a dear friend of mine, the whole way. happy (belated) birthday little one! you keep on wearin' those texas bows!! see gwen, i HAVE had some influence on her, just like you subconsciously gave my baby girl rhythym. :)

i had the privilege to shoot two beautiful little girls today. little "l" was so sweet and cooperative, and is excited to introduce her new baby "c", just 8 days old. thanks girlies for making the morning fun and easy!

welcome baby "a"

a couple weeks back, i did a maternity session for a good friend of mine.

and it's a good thing we didn't wait! because her little guy decided to come 4 weeks early! he was healthy weighing in at over 7 pounds, so no cause for concern.. i was lucky enough to snap a few pics of him, nice and fresh! congrats j and e, he's simply lovely, just like his parents.

sneak peek for the "s" girls

these sisters were so beautiful in their matching dresses. FULL of life and energy. not a dull moment was had during this shoot! they each had very exact faces they wanted to make for the pictures and i think the "individual" pics were their favorites to have done! thanks guys for being patient with me, as i was shooting with a different camera!! happy travels back to the big apple!

not sure what it is about this one, but i like it. i think my mom would wonder why in the world i took a picture of the bottom of his shoes, but it just kinda reminds me of the stage he's in now. he will soon sit no more. and will be running everywhere as fast as he can. this just reminds me of the days when he contemplated mobility...
